Operations Zone Redevelopment – Phase 1A – Building Demolition

As a continuation of the Notice of Proposed Procurement (see NCC solicitation number AL1652, Buyandsell reference number PW-16-00733537) posted May 19, 2016, the NCC invites contractors to bid and submit their waste reduction workplans in accordance with the bid solicitation document AL1652A.

The work will include the high recovery demolition / deconstruction of 4 structures in accordance with and the tender documents while at the same time achieving the best value in terms of price, energy conservation, waste minimization and the use and promotion of the 3R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) philosophy. This work shall be performed in an environmentally sustainable manner maximizing the reuse and/or recycling of materials. All work shall be carried out in accordance with the tender requirements and the successful contractor’s accepted Waste Reduction Workplan (WRW).

A NON MANDATORY site visit will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 10am Ottawa Time. All costs incurred by the Bidder to attend the site visit will be at their expense. The NCC will not reimburse any Bidder for expenses related to the site visit. To confirm your attendance at the site visit and to gain access to the grounds, please communicate with NCC Corporate Security at 613-239-5222 or securityscreening@ncc-ccn.ca at least 24 hours prior to the site visit. Please note that all visits to sensitive sites shall be coordinated with, and approved by NCC Corporate Security
