Johnston Canyon Rock Stabilization – Banff National Park

Requirement:

Work for this Contract comprises of rock stabilization in Johnston Canyon in Banff National Park, Alberta.

The work involved with the rock slope remediation program consists of rock scaling, trimming, rock bolting, cold patching, rock fall mesh installation, erosion control matting installation, asphalt removal and installation, designated tree removal, retaining wall construction, supply and installation of metal railing and expanded metal mesh, temporary removal and replacement or relocation of metal railing, and other related works. 

SI04 MANDATORY SITE VISIT:

There will be a site visit on August 31, 2015 at 9:00 AM. Interested bidders are to meet at:

Banff National Park

Bidders are asked to register prior to the site visit with the contact listed in SI06.

The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.

Project Timeline:

National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
