Dedicated Driver Servicex

The Request for Proposal is issued to provide the Government of
Canada with services associated with the pick-up and delivery of
material to various locations throughout the National Capital
Region (NCR) and to provide driver services for departmental
messengers on behalf of the Privy Council Office (PCO). The
services require three drivers and two back-up drivers to work a
forty hour work week with occasional overtime.
The period of the Contract will be from contract award
to November 30, 2017 with the option to extend for three (3)
additional one (1) year periods form December 1, 2017 to November 30, 2018, December 1, 2018 to November 30, 2019 and from December 1, 2019 to November 30, 2020.
The Bidder must provide minivans and/or vans that are model year
2013 or newer and bilingual drivers and back-up drivers who have
extensive knowledge of city infrastructure (roads, Government
building locations). Each driver must be bonded in the amount
of $5,000.00.
A Commercial General Liability Insurance, not less than
$2,000,000 per accident or occurrence, an Automobile Liability
Insurance, not less than $2,000,000 per accident or occurrence,
and a All Risk Transit Insurance shall be effected by the
Contractor and maintained throughout the duration of the
Contract.
There is a security requirement applicable to this solicitation:
The contractor must, at all times during the performance of the Contract, Standing Offer or Supply Arrangement, maintain a valid Facility Security Clearance (FSC) issued by Public Works and Government Services Canada – Industrial Security Program.
The contractor and/or its employees must EACH maintain a valid SECRET clearance issued by Public Works and Government Services Canada – Industrial Security Program and approved by the Privy Council Office.
The contractor and/or its employees MUST NOT use its IT systems to electronically process, produce or store PROTECTED and/or CLASSIFIED information or data.
Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to be awarded without the prior written permission of the Privy Council Office.
