DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
This contract consists of granting to a general contractor the mandate to demolish and reconstruct a utilily building with the aim to meet the needs of Parks Canada and its visitors. The majority of construction will be affected and will be under the responsibility of only one general contractor supervised by a firm previously mandated.
Bid security is required.
Contractors must have $5,000,000.00 Liability Insurance Coverage and a Builder’s risk insurance.

Faxed submission will NOT be accepted. Only revisions will be accepted by fax.
SITE VISIT:
There will be a optional site visit on Tursday Sept 29, 2016 at 2:00 pm. (EDT). Interested bidders are to meet at La Mauricie National Park operational center:Address: 50, Chemin du Lac-Goulet, St-Mathieu du Parc, G0X 1N0. This site meeting is not mandatory, but it is recommended that all bidders attend.
NOTE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS:
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents.
DELIVERY DATE:
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work by February 24, 2017 from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
