    INSTALLATION OF BARBED WIRE AND GAURDRAILS ON ROOFS

    This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada – Joliette Institution

    Trade agreement: The Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT)

    Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.

    Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest priced compliant bid.

    Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers.

    Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.

    Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.

    Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.

    The Correctional Service of Canada is looking for a general contractor for a project including the provision of all the workforce, equipment and materials in order to install the barbed wire and the guardrails above the roofs as described in the various sections of the technical specifications and plans.

    There will be a MANDATORY SITE VISIT. (see request for quotation)
    It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the places of works. Arrangements have been made for the site visit. Details about the site visit and prior security clearance for this visit are contained in the bid solicitation document.
    The work must be completed before July 31, 2017.
