Parks Canada Agency requires the services of General Contractors at Rouge National Urban Park to manage all aspects of a number of “as and when required” multi-discipline renovation projects that may include the demolition, renovation and construction of various structures. It will also be the responsibility of the general contractor to plan, organize and control the work, health and safety of all tradesmen working on any project under their management.
Complete details of skills and responsibilities of the General Contractor are detailed in the Scope of Work included herein as Annex “B”.
Contracts resulting from the creation of Supply Arrangements (SA’s) will include (but will not be limited to) the following trade categories and disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Gas Fitter, Steamfitters/Pipefitters, Fire Protection, Plumbing; Carpentry; Painting and Interior Finishes; Flooring; Roofing (Shingled and Built-up); Concrete Finisher; Glazier; Locksmith; Power Line Technicians; Masonry Specialist; and Sheet Metal Workers.
Duration of the Supply Arrangement:
The Supply Arrangement will be valid for two (2) years from the date of issue with the option for two (2) one-year extensions.
Contracts resulting from the SA will typically range anywhere between $5,000 to $400,000.

A Bidders Conference has been set for June 8th, 2017 @ 10:00 am - Cedar Grove Community Centre, 7667 14th Avenue, Markham, ON, L6B 1A8. A Parks Canada representative will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
