Description of Work:
The project involves installation of machine protection equipment and replacement of mecanical and electrical equipment.
Closing Date and Time: Friday, July 21, 2017 - 1 :30 PM EDT
OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 220, rue du Barrage, St-André d’Argenteuil, Québec J0V 1X0 on June 28, 2017. The site visit will begin at 8:30 in the parking lot at the bottow of Lock of NHS of Carillon Canal.
The visit will be of a minimum duration of 90 minutes including the visit to the vertical tower only accessible by a staircase. Tenderers must provide and wear their own safety equipment, including helmets, steel cape boots, safety glasses and reflective bibs.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than June 27, 2017 at 2 o’clock to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
Construction Time:
The contractor will begin the work from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer and will complete the work on or before November 30, 2017.

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
This PCA office provides procurement services to the public in either official language of Canada.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
