    Description of Work:

    The Parks Canada Agency is issuing a call to tender for the services of a contractor to replace wastewater treatment systems in the Mauricie National Park. The work includes the replacement of wastewater treatment systems at six (6) sites, including, but not limited to: the supply and installation of new wastewater treatment systems, the dismantling of existing septic systems, the complete dismantling of a treatment system consisting of four (4) Ecoflos and the installation of six (6) dry toilets, two of which are located on a site not included in the works of the septic installations replacement, but located near the site of the works.

    SITE VISIT

    BIDDERS’ MEETING

    A meeting of bidders will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. The meeting will begin at 1 :00 PM EDT.

    The meeting will take place at the Operational Center, 50 chemin du Lac-Goulet (formely 2141 chemin St-Paul) St-Mathieu-du-Parc, QC G0X 1N0.

    The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the meeting and questions will be answered. It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend.

    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the meeting to confirm attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, the name(s) of the person(s) who will be attending and a list of issues they wish to table no later than Tuesday March 20, 2018 at 1 :30 PM.

    Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the bidders' meeting will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Bidders who do not attend will not be precluded from submitting a bid.

    Construction Time:

    The contractor will begin the work from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer and will complete the work on or before July 6, 2018.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
