This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 1 for services in the National Capital Region for the following categories:

One or more Database Administrator, Level 3;

One or more Database Modeller/IM Modeller, Level 3;

One or more Platform Analyst, Level 2; and

One or more Technology Architect, Level 2

Description of Work:

LAC is in the middle of its Digital Transformation and the fuel to this transformation is Data. LAC collects a large quantity of structured and unstructured data each year, which can provide valuable insight into how it manages its collections, as well as how to improve discoverability of materials by the Canadian public. To take advantage of the valuable, but hitherto untapped, data within these repositories, LAC wants to develop and implement a business intelligence strategy that will:

• establish an over-arching business information architecture, defining the nature, structure, and content of LAC business;

• identify and pursue business opportunities of improving processes, services, knowledge that better management of data make possible

• implement data analytics tools and methods, such as Business Intelligence (BI), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Big Data.

• Business analytics techniques could allow LAC to fill the information gap between disparate sources of data (i.e., that generated by acquisition, description, preservation, and access systems, as well as administrative, financial, and human resources data sets) that would support a wide range of business decisions. 

• Bidders may submit a bid all resource categories.

• The work is currently being performed by MSI Corp. under contract 5Z011-15-0190 (value $594,945.00)
