    Description

    June 29, 2018 - Amendment

This amendment to the Request for Information is raised to extend the closing date to July 10, 2018 as Canada is currently preparing the lessons learned report to be posted on www.buyandsell.gc.ca.

    SCOPE

The Government of Canada would like to thank all respondents who participated in the Accessibility Procurement Pilot: Call for Proposals (CFP) 24062-180181/B. As a pilot, the federal departments that were involved are very interested in how we can improve our procurement processes going forward. The procurement processes involved were:

    • Letter of Interest (LOI) No. 24062-180181/A; and
    • Call for Proposals (CFP) Solicitation No. 24062-180181/B. As the solicitation documents are no longer available on www.BuyandSell.gc.ca, they have been provided as an attachment to this RFI.

    NEXT STEPS

Public Services and Procurement Canada has prepared a questionnaire to seek feedback from interested parties, including participants in the procurement process and interested stakeholders, on the procurement process associated with the Accessibility Procurement Pilot.

Canada also intends to offer interested parties one-on-one meetings with Canada to gather comments and suggestions with regard to the Accessibility Procurement Pilot.

Following the one-on-one meetings (which will conclude on May 25, 2018), Canada intends to organize a reverse industry day, whereby interested parties will have the opportunity to share their feedback in an open forum with Government of Canada officials.

Canada may also contact parties that participated in the procurement process to obtain their feedback.

    ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES

    QUESTIONNAIRE

Interested parties are encouraged to complete the attached questionnaire. Participation in a one-on-one meeting is not necessary in order to submit written feedback using the questionnaire. For those interested in participating in a one-on-one meeting, logistical information and details of how to request a meeting are provided below.

The questionnaire is provided under the attachments menu below, as Attachment 1.

    ONE-ON-ONE MEETINGS

One-on-one meetings may be made available in the National Capital Area between May 2 and 25, 2018.

Interested parties may request a one-on-one meeting with Canada via e-mail to TPSGC.PAOuvertparDefaut-APOpenbyDefault.PWGSC@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca including a completed Participation Agreement and questionnaire. The responses to the questionnaire will serve to facilitate the discussion during the one-on-one meetings.

Following receipt of a request, Canada will contact the interested party to coordinate the one-on-one meeting.

Participation in the one-on-one meetings is not required in order to submit a response to the questionnaire or any follow-on solicitation.

The Participation Agreement is provided under the attachments menu below, as Attachment 2.

    REVERSE INDUSTRY DAY

Canada intends to organize a reverse industry day, whereby interested parties will have the opportunity to share their feedback and suggestions for improvement on the accessibility procurement pilot in an open forum with Government of Canada officials.

The reverse industry day will take place following the conclusion of the one-on-one meetings on May 30, 2018 (estimated), in the National Capital Area at a location to be determined at Canada’s discretion.

Interested parties wishing to participate in the reverse industry day may register two participants via e-mail to TPSGC.PAOuvertparDefaut-APOpenbyDefault.PWGSC@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca including a completed Participation Agreement by May 28, 2018.

Participation in the reverse industry day is not required in order to submit a response to the questionnaire, have a one-on-one meeting or submit a response to any follow-on solicitation.

The Participation Agreement is provided under the attachments menu below, as Attachment 2.
