The department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has a requirement for the provision of field support facilities and services at Poacher Lake, NT from July 3 – 26, 2018

The Field Camp Requirement are as follows:

• • A field camp at Poacher Lake, NT, from July 3-26, 2018 (24 days).
  • Sleeping facilities and/or tents for up to 10 people at any one time but we expect only 7 people at the camp on most days. Tents must be suitable for mountain weather conditions and must be equipped with floors or sturdy ground sheets. A sufficient number of tents must be provided to allow for varying numbers of male and female party members, and to ensure that the geologists (2) have individual accommodations.
  • Washing and toilet/outhouse facilities.
  • Indoor space with electricity and a source of heat (for computer work in evenings). Indoor workspace must consist of a tent of suitable size for use as an office for two people, equipped with a portable generator and portable heater.
  • Electrical generator and fuel; the provider shall be responsible for maintenance of the generator.
  • Meals, including services of a cook and provisioning for prepared breakfasts, packed lunches, and dinners.
  • Services of a camp manager, who must have experience working in this role in the Mackenzie Mountains
  • The camp must be within walking distance to an open space that can accommodate rotary-wing aircraft.
  • Contractor is responsible for maintaining a clean camp and disposing of all garbage/waste.
  • The camp must be adjacent to Poacher Lake.
