Requirement:
Banff National Park, Banff Field Unit requires infrastructure improvements to address significant issues that have been identified regarding traffic congestion, visitor safety and pavement condition. The work includes the construction of two roundabout intersections and associated lighting; reconfiguration and pavement overlay of two parking lots, relocation of a transit stop and improvements of pathways (both concrete and gravel) adjacent to parking areas and intersections as well as replacement of existing signage.
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $1,000,001 > $5,000,000, Taxes extra.
Project Time Line:
The Contractor shall perform and complete all onsite Work by October 1, 2019.
Site Visit:
There will be an optional site visit on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 2:00PM. Interested bidders are to meet at the Upper Hot Pool parking lot entrance at 1 Mountain Avenue, Banff Alberta.

Information:
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.

Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk.
