    Description

    To facilitate a smooth transition from a Windows 7 / Microsoft Office 2010 environment to Windows 10 with Office 2016, the Technology Architect will modify, test, and support the baseline images ensuring that it functions across the desktop fleet of laptops & tablets, provide knowledge transfer to the administrators, develop supporting documentation; and as required recommend changes to the Microsoft Development Toolkit (MDT) environment to facilitate the deployment of devices. Mobile devices (tablets) will replace all fixed desktops (PC) within the next three years. The mobile devices are configured to automatically connect to a secure WiFi network within the Agencies premises. Further, the Agencies have a number of custom developed applications which support the core grants and scholarship business and third party products which leverage features of the Microsoft Office suite. As such, the Technology Architect will work in collaboration with a variety of subject matter expert to identify and as required recommend or remediate integration issues.
