This requirement is for Cyber Risks and Open Banking for the Department of Finance Canada
Description of requirement:
The Department of Finance is undertaking a review into the merits of open banking. The Department of Finance requires the services of a Contractor to perform a background study on cybersecurity and open banking. The work of the contract is to provide background on the existing state of cyber risks for the Canadian financial sector from a non-technical standpoint. As part of the work, the Contractor will also evaluate approaches to cyber risks in other comparable jurisdictions, particularly those who are moving forward with open banking and who are developing cyber risk mitigates in an open banking environment. The report will consider how open banking creates new opportunity for threats and identify gaps in the existing regulatory and governance system
Proposed period of contract:
The contract period will be from date of contract award until May 17, 2019.
