REQUIREMENT
Parks Canada Agency (PCA) needs construction services for works of local pavement reconstruction, pulverization, setting of a used layer covered with bitumen, replacement and rehabilitation of 12 culverts between km 37+590 and 57+541 of the Promenade Road in the Mauricie National Park.
For all works, projects must include: preliminary and site mobilization works; environment protection measures; signaling during works; design, supplying and implementing the temporary works and elements of access to structures; work site organization; permanent road signs, and site refurbishment. See specifications and plans for more details regarding project requirements.
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value over and above $5,000,001.00, taxes extra.
PERIOD OF CONTRACT
Contractor shall perform the Work from the 3rd of June 2019 and complete the Work no later than the 1st of November 2019.
SITE VISIT
There will be no scheduled visit to the site. The road is currently snow-covered and will not be cleared by the end of the tender.

Enquiries regarding this bid must be submitted in writing and should be received no later than five (5) calendar days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer NOT being provided.
INFORMATION:
National Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.
Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders . Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
