Description

The Transportation of Dangerous Goods Program (TDG) at Transport Canada has a requirement for research and analysis of freight truck movements and dangerous goods quantities in the province of Ontario. At present, there is a need for comprehensive information about the movement of dangerous goods truck freight shipments in the province of Ontario. An analysis of truck shipments from marine ports that travel on Ontario roads will provide an overview of the DG activity in the region, including identification of the dominant DG classes, Canadian DG import/export to, from, and through the region, and locations of major industrial hubs.
