Description
The Embassy of Canada to the United States, in Washington, D.C requires construction services for renovations/upgrades to the Canadian Embassy 6th Level Bathrooms.
The objective of this project is to renovate the hospitality/guest bathrooms with eco-friendly and
higher efficiency fixtures. The current materials are at the end of their life cycle and upgrading the fixtures to eco-friendly products will allow the Embassy to achieve a higher level of energy efficiency in the building. It will also provide an improved ease of use for employees.
Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at the Embassy of Canada to the United States, in Washington, D.C., 501 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, Washington, DC, 20001 on December 10, 2020. The site visit will begin at 10:00 EST and end at 11:00 EST. No one will be admitted after 10:15 EST.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Advisor no later than Wednesday, December 09 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
