Title: Bottled Drinking Water & Water Dispensers

Description:

The Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) requires one (1) contract for the supply, delivery and maintenance service of purified bottled drinking water within the Chancery and approximately fifty (50) residential units for Staff of the High Commission of Canada in Nairobi, Kenya including refilling bottles, water dispensers and bottle racks.

The contract period will be for three (3) years from July 1st, 2021 to March 31, 2024 with an irrevocable option to extend it for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2021. However, in the event of unusual circumstances, the contract could be awarded at a sooner or later date.

There are no Security requirements associated with this requirement.

Basis of selection:

To be declared responsive, a bid must:

  1. comply with all the requirements of the bid solicitation; and
  2. meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria; and
  3. obtain the required minimum of 36 points overall for the technical evaluation criteria which are subject to point rating. The rating is performed on a scale of 60 points."

Bids not meeting (a) or (b) or (c) will be declared non-responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will

be recommended for award of a contract.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement.
