Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) proposes to use a variety of government tools and funding mechanisms to assist organizations in increasing their Board of Directors and senior management diversity, including by adopting practices to address biases and barriers limiting the full potential of diverse employees. Among the proposed measures is the development of an online toolkit which builds on existing best practices and evidence.

ISED is soliciting bids (also referred to as “proposals”) for the services of a Contractor to provide purpose-built ‘What Works Toolkit’ to be available to all 50-30 Challenge participants and all Canadian organizations. This toolkit must include resources designed to set out policies and approaches for recruitment, mentoring, promoting, and retention of board members and employees, as well as anti-racism, anti-harassment, and inclusive workplace strategies, and other related relevant activities and initiatives. The toolkit will also feature examples from Canadian organizations, profiling diversity successes, for participants to use as models in developing their own diversity plans, as defined in Annex “A”, Statement of Work (the “Work”).

It is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract for one (1) year.
