NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP)

Title: Heating Upgrade Project – Regina, SK

Description:

Full construction services for the complete replacement of existing heating supply lines, including:

‐ Removal and replacement of approximately 225 meters of piping.

‐ Removal of existing chiller water, compressed air, high-pressure steam, and steam condensate piping.

‐ New high-pressure steam, condensate, and compressed air piping in new underground precast service trench vault, with connection into existing building systems and district heating system.

‐ Installation of electrical to accommodate leak detection system.

‐ Reinstating of landscaping, paving, and other site features affected by install of new piping/vault.

‐ Temporary heating of building being served, throughout entire duration of construction.

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by June 30th, 2023.

This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first. 

No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation.
