Correctional Service Canada (CSC) requires 175,000 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun ammunition, plastic body, 2¾ inch length, max drams equivalent, 1 ¼ oz. no.4 buck. One (1) contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation process. The resulting contract will include two (2) additional optional purchases of 175,000 rounds, where one (1) additional optional purchase may be made in each of the two (2) following years after contract award. 


There is no technical evaluation for this requirement. However, if the Bidder is awarded the Contract as a result of this solicitation, it must submit samples for Quality Assurance Testing, in accordance with Annex "A" - Statement of Requirement, and the related Appendix "A" - Quality Assurance Testing, and Appendix "B" - RCMP Ammunition General Quality Assurance Standards, prior to delivery. 


Bidders must submit their financial bid in accordance with Attachment 1 to Part 3 - Pricing Schedule. Bidders must submit their price(s) in Canadian dollars, DDP Delivered Duty Paid, Canadian customs duties and excise taxes included, and applicable taxes excluded.


The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
