    DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT

Environment and Climate Change Canada requires the services of a contractor to produce the final design (Phase 1) as well as a new permanent exhibition, including the reception desks (Phase 2) at the Interpretation Centre of the Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area (NWA). The final design and the exhibition production must be based on the museological treatment, as well as on the scenario, layout sketches and design produced and provided by the CTNWA. The exhibition scenario and the layout and design sketches are not part of the budget of this contract.

The new exhibition at the Cap Tourmente NWA Interpretation Centre will demystify the mission of the CTNWA and will facilitate an understanding of the importance of the protected areas managed by the Canadian Wildlife Service (CWS). While the Greater Snow Goose is the indisputable star of the show, the CTNWA has much more to offer to visitors; the exhibition will allow us to discover other aspects of the NWA.

In the first phase of the contract, the Contractor will be required to work with and finalize the initial design for permanent exhibition already contained within the solicitation document. This first phase will begin upon contract award, and will end on March 31, 2019.

In the second, optional phase, the Contractor will be tasked with fabricating and producing the new permanent exhibition in accordance with the final design developed in the first phase of the contract.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

The requirement is limited to Canadian services.

This bid solicitation is to establish a contract with task authorizations for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the bid solicitation to the Identified Users across Canada, excluding locations within Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Quebec, and Labrador that are subject to Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements (CLCAs). Any requirement for deliveries within CLCAs areas within Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Quebec, or Labrador will have to be treated as a separate procurement, outside the resulting contract.

    SECURITY REQUIREMENT

There is no security requirement associated with the requirement.
