A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT

Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) has a requirement to produce two recruitment videos in English and in French and up to 30 high-resolution photographs tobe captured at DFO air, land, and marine locations across Canada (Halifax, Nova Scotia; Yellowknife, Northwest Territories; and Vancouver, British Columbia).  
The videos are being developed to raise awareness of career opportunities with Conservation and Protection and to act as a call to action encouraging individuals to apply to the fishery officer trainee position.
The format of the recruitment videos should be fast-paced, with a musical score, featuring footage of iconic images from across Canada and Fishery Officers working within the operational environment (marine, land, air) that will evoke pride and excitement for the work C&P does.  Similar style high-definition photographs should be taken at each filming location for DFO’s use in promotional print materials, so that DFO’s recruitment materials will have a similar look and feelas the videos.
The videos will be used at recruitment outreach activities, highlighted in social media activities, and posted on the Fishery Officer Career web pages http://www.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/fm-gp/enf-loi/officer-agent-eng.htm and http://www.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/fm-gp/enf-loi/officer-agent-fra.htm, as well as on DFO’s YouTube channel and other social media platforms.  In future, the recruitments videos may also be used for television commercials. The photos will be used in promotional print materials, on social media platforms as appropriate, and internally.

PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT
The period of the Contract is from award to November 30 2017 inclusive.

SECURITY REQUIREMENT

There is no security requirement associated with the requirement.

BASIS FOR CANADA'S OWNERSHIP OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Canada has determined that any intellectual property rights arising from the performance of the Work under the resulting contract(s) will belong to Canada, on the following grounds: To generate knowledge and information for public dissemination.
