This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement
of Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS) (the "Client") for
a barcode and RFID reader that will integrate with TBS's
corporate System Applications and Products in Data Processing
(SAP) system to track materiel assets stored at various TBS
offices within the National Capital Region (NCR). The
requirement includes the supply, delivery, provision of 1 year
return-to-depot warranty and software support, design,
integration and implementation services, documentation and
training. It is intended to result in the award of a contract
for 1 year, plus 3 one-year irrevocable options allowing Canada
to extend the term of the contract as follows:

(i)	The initial purchase of 18 barcode and RFID readers;

(ii)	An option to purchase up to an additional 8 barcode and
RFID readers described in the Contract as and when requested for
fiscal year ending March 31, 2016;

(iii)	An option to purchase up to an additional 10 barcode and
RFID readers described in the Contract as and when requested for
fiscal year ending March 31, 2017; and

(iv)	An option to purchase up to an additional 10 barcode and
RFID readers described in the Contract as and when requested for
fiscal year ending March 31, 2018.

There is a security requirement associated with this requirement.

procurement.
