    PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:  Memorial to the Victims of Communism,
    Ottawa, Ontario
    
    PROJECT DESCRIPTION:    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf
    of the Department of Canadian Heritage (PCH), is inviting
    Proponents consisting of teams of professional artists and
    architects, landscape architects (and other urban design
    professionals) to submit Submissions detailing their credentials
    and examples of prior work for the first part of a two-phase
    competition to design and build a national monument entitled
    "Memorial to the Victims of Communism - Canada, a Land of
    Refuge" in Canada's Capital. 
    This is the first phase (Phase 1) of a two-phase competition:
    the first phase will evaluate qualifications of all Proponents
    and shortlist a maximum of six Proponents as Qualified
    Proponents; the second phase will invite Qualified Proponents to
    develop concepts.

    Enquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no

    SUBMISSION DOCUMENTS:
    Proponents intending to submit submission on this project should
    obtain submission documents through the Government Electronic
    Tendering Service at http://Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders or at the
    toll-free number 1-855-886-3030. Amendments, when issued, will
    be available from the same government electronic tendering
    service.
