    					Workplace 2.0 Fit-Up, Blackburn Building
    					85 Sparks Street, 3rd Floor, Ottawa, Ontario 
    
    PROJECT DESCRIPTION:    
    
    The construction Scope of Work will include, the fit-up of
    office space located at the 3rd Floor of  85 Blackburn, Ottawa
    to meet PWGSC Workplace 2.0 fit-up standards. Work includes the
    total floor area of approximately 745m2 with selective
    demolition, new mechanical/electrical systems, interior
    partitions, interior doors and glazing, ceiling, new carpet
    flooring, and paint finishes. Renovations will be executed with
    other floors in the building in use, so security and scheduling
    of noise-related work is important. PGSGC will be installing new
    office workstations and cabling in coordination with Client and
    Contractor.
    
    Work is to be completed within nineteen (19) weeks after
    contract award. 
    
    MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
     
    This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At
    bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Facility Security
    Clearance at level of SECRET.  Failure to comply with this
    requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
    consideration will be given to the Bid. 
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  
    
    There will be a site visit on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at
    10:00 a.m.  Interested bidders shall meet at the main entrance
    of 11 Metcalfe Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
