PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:
Project # R.040057.023, Scaling & Rockfall Mitigation of the
Supreme Court of Canada Escarpment, 
301 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Supreme Court of Canada sits atop a limestone cliff
immediately adjacent the Ottawa River. Rockfalls onto the bike
path at the base of the cliff have occurred in the past. Interim
remedial measures are required.These measures will involve
manual scaling of loose rock and bolting of larger blocks of
rock to stabilize the cliff face.

Work is to be completed within ten (10) weeks after contract
award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the
following category: $250,001.00 - $500,000.00

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated
Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be a site visit April 14, 2015 at 10:00 am.
