    PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: 
    Connaught Rifle Range Remediation Project, 31 Shirley Boulevard,
    Ottawa, On. Project # R.065220.353
    
    PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
    This project is for the removal of bullet heads and wooden boxes
    from a 450 meter sand berm that serves as a bullet catcher, at
    two adjacent rifle firing ranges. The existing sand and soil
    must be removed and sifted to extract the bullet heads (to be
    retained on site for later disposal). The existing sifted sand
    will be reused and blended with new aqueous sand and then
    reinstated on the berm. A new peat moss trench will be installed
    at the foot of the berm."
    
    Work is to be completed within Six (6) weeks after contract
    award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the
    following category: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00
    
    MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
    This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
    bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated
    Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this
    requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
    consideration will be given to the Bid. 
    
    OPTIONAL/MANDATORY SITE VISIT:  
    There will be a site visit on October 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m..

    Shirley Boulevard, Ottawa, Ontario.
