Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: YES (MERX) Electronic Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: THIS NOTICE AMENDMENT IS BEING ISSUED TO EXTEND THE CLOSING DATE FROM JULY 8TH, 2014 AT 2:00PM TO JULY 10TH, 2014 AT 2:00PM. ***************************************************************** ****************************************************** **** This Notice Amendment is being issued for the following reason: Modify GSIN from C119A (Contractor Services) to the following GSIN's: 5124B (Construction of Commercial Building), 5162B (Sprinkler Systems, Installation and Repair, 5164AB (Electrical Contractor Services, Class A Licence). **** ***************************************************************** ******************************************************* PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: R.061064.002 Brouse Base Building Code Deficiencies 181 Sparks Street, Ottawa, Ontario Project description: The purpose of this project is to improve the life and safety features of basement and ground floor of this building by modifying the sprinkler system, modifying means of egress and changing the emergency lighting. Work is to be completed within nine (9) weeks after contract award. MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT: This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS) issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit on June 26th, 2014 at 10:00am. Interested bidders shall meet at the Brouse Building at 181 Sparks Street, Ottawa, Ontario. Due to the nature of the requirement and in order to gain access to the Brouse Building situated at 181 Sparks Street in Ottawa, all bidders must submit the name (legal name), date of birth and security clearance level held for each individual that will be attending the site visit. This information is to be submitted to the Contracting Authority by email at martine.seguin@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca no later than June 23rd, 2014 at 12:00 p.m., as this information must be verified and confirmed through CISD. You will be advised as to the status of each individual on the list provided prior to the site visit taking place. It is the responsibility of the bidders to ensure that the Contracting Authority is in receipt of this information by the date and time specified. All contractor personnel/individuals that bidders plan on sending to attend the site visit must be cleared prior to attending. No personnel/individuals will be permitted to access the site without the required clearance. Contractor personnel/individuals who do not have the required security clearance and the proper safety attire will be denied access to the site.
