Project description:    

The project is to do the following :
• Remove all the ground stone slabs of the stairsand the waterproofing membrane and its substract and the guardrails and handrails where required;
• Installation of a new waterproofing membrane with its substract;
• Re-installation of the ground stone slabs, the guardrails and handrails.

Work is to be completed within eleven (11) weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $500,001 - $1,000,000.  

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:   
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS).  Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  
Therewill be a site visit on July 6th, 2016 at 10:00am.   Interested bidders are to meet at the Supreme Court of Canada Building, 301 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario. 
No health and safety protection is required for this visit.
