Ontario Project description: The work consists of the excavation of approximately 8,900 cubic metres of soil impacted by metals and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons.The excavated soil is to be taken off-site for disposal at a licensed landfill in Ontario. The excavation is to be backfilled with clean imported fill. Site restoration and landscaping is to be completed by October 2017. Work is to be completed within fifteen (15)weeks after contract award. The es timated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $1,000,001 to $5,000,000. MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT: This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.At bid closing,the Bidder must hold a valid "Designated Organization Sc reening (DOS)". Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be an optional site visit on May 11th, 2017 at 10:00am. Interested bidders shall meet at the Main Entrance of 555 Booth Street, Ot tawa, Ontario. Safety Attire - None required.
