Replacement, Building M23, NRC Campus, 1200 Montreal Road,
Ottawa, Ontario

Project description:    
Replace the roofing system at building M23, 1200 Montreal Rd for
the complete high roof and partial section of low roof. Provide
new insulation and slope roof to accommodate existing roof
drains. Replace existing parapets and mechanical units supports.
Provide new metal flashing on perimeter parapet.
Work is to be completed within twelve (12) weeks after contract
award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the
following category: $101,000.00 to $250,000.00

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
  
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At
bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated
Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this
requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
consideration will be given to the Bid. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: 
 
There will be a site visit on October 15, 2014 at 10:00am.
Interested bidders are to meet outside of the main entrance of
Building M-23, NRC Campus, 1200 Montreal Road, Ottawa, ON. 

Bidders are advised that Photo ID will also be required and due
to the nature of the requirement bidders must allow extra time
to sign in and out at the main entrance.
Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the
site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green
patch). Hard hats are also required. Contractor
personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire
will be denied access to the site.
