Uplands Base Bluenose Parking Paving

Project description:    
This project is for the installation of a 10 meter reinforced concrete turning pad, drainage and paving within an existing vehicle compound located atthe CFB Uplands Base in Ottawa.  The existing gravel lot will be excavated and drainage channels installed.  New catch basins will 
be instated and new granular base will be applied and compacted. The concrete turning pad and paving will then be applied.  The new construction will allow heavy military vehicles to turn from their stationary position.  

Work is to be completed within seventeen (17) weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the followingcategory: $500,001 - $1,000,000.00.

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
 
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS).  Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  

There will be a site visit on Thursday January 21, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interested bidders shall meet at 720 Bluenose Private, Ottawa, Ontario.
