PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Work is to be completed within eight (8) weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: 
$500,001 to $1,000,000


MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
 

This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid security clearance at the level of Secret. Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:


1. There will be a site visit on August 26th, 2021. Interested bidders should contact the Contract Authority by email at cody.larocque@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca a minimum of 7 business days before the site visit to be assigned a time slot.

2. At their assigned time slot, interested bidders are to meet at 3701 Carling Avenue, Nepean, ON, K2K 2Y7, at the main guard post entrance to the compound. Parking is available.

3. Safety Attire and Requirements: In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (footwear, hard hat, and masks). All individuals must sign a COVID-19 waiver and agree to have their temperature taken before accessing the site. Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.

4. Security pre-screening: All the individuals attending the site visit must hold a security clearance of Secret, and a “Working at heights” certification. The names of each individual attending the site visit, their date of birth, along with the name of the firm they represent, should be provided to the Contracting Authority by August 17th, 2021, at 2:00pm in order to gain access to the site.

5. During the site visit, the bidder’s representative must wear a non-medical face covering at all times, and maintain a minimum physical distance of two meters from others whenever possible.
