REQUIREMENT:

The Department of National Defence, as part of the Halifax Class Modernization, has a requirement to purchase spare parts in support of various combat systems currently onboard HALIFAX Class Frigates. Spare parts are to be delivered to Halifax, Nova Scotia and/or Victoria (British Columbia).

DESCRIPTION:

The Contractor must supply the items as detailed in Annex A - PriceList - CSIC Spare Parts Ops # 2. 

Bidders do not have to quote a price for every item in the bid solicitation in order to be evaluated.

Delivery date: As soon as possible.

This solicitation contains controlled goods, see DMC Column of Annex A. Bidder must be registered under the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) http://iss-ssi.pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca/dmc-cgd/index-eng.html

Bids will remain open for acceptance for a period of not less than 90 days from the closing date of the bid solicitation.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

More than one Contract may be awarded in response to this solicitation.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

The requirement is excluded from international trade agreements (WTO-AGP, NAFTA). The provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) do apply.

Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement does not apply as delivery is not within a Land Claim Area.
