    This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number T2012-200016 dated July 28, 2020 with a closing of September 9, 2020 at 2:00pm ADT. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.
    
    There is no Security Requirement. 
    
    Transport Canada requires the removal and disposal of the Bernard N. Seeley in Baker's Island Yarmouth, NS. 
    
    SITE VISIT: 
    Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, no site visit has been scheduled. 
    
    INQUIRIES: 
    All inquiries of a technical nature and all questions of a contractual nature are to be submitted to the Contracting Authority: Leanne Nowakowski, leanne.nowakowski@pwgsc.gc.ca, facsimile: (902) 496-5016. Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than three (3) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. 
    
    Value of Project:  To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value <$100,000.00.

    Effective April 1, 2020: 
    Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the mail room in Halifax will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Monday to Thursday, 10:00 am to 3:00pm (local time), closed on Fridays. 
    
    Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by instructions indicated in the Invitation to Tender. Please monitor Buyandsell.gc.ca closely as changes to bid closing dates may be necessary.
