Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: Yes Nature of Requirements: Arctic Diesel Fuel This requirement is to supply 15,580 litres of Arctic Diesel in 205-Litre drums, DDP, to a specific Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) Vessel located at either Quebec City, Quebec or St John’s, Newfoundland for furtherance to Nunavut. CCG will be responsible to deliver the fuel to NU from the port at QC or NF. The estimated delivery period to the port will be between contract award and June 30th, 2021. The port and exact delivery date will be provided after contract award. The following Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement applies to this procurement: Nunavut Land Claim Agreement (NLCA) for deliveries to Killiniq, Nunavut where "deliveries to" means goods delivered to, and services performed in. As such bidding will be limited to firms registered on the Inuit Firm Registry(IFR). This procurement is set aside from the international trade agreements under the provision each has for measures with respect to Aboriginal people or for set-asides for small and minority businesses. Further to Article 800 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), CFTA does not apply to this procurement. This procurement is subject to The Agreement between the Inuit of the Nunavut Settlement Area and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada (The Nunavut Agreement). Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
