Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/AIT/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: N/A - P&A/LOI Only Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Fire, Safety and Rescue Equipment (FSRE) E60HN-14FSRE/A McLaughlin, Michael Telephone No. - (819) 956-3622 Michael.mclaughlin@pwgsc.gc.ca REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) FIRE, SAFETY AND RESCUE EQUIPMENT (FSRE) Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is in the preliminary planning stages for the implementation of a new method of supply to facilitate the procurement of Fire, Safety and Rescue Equipment (FSRE), including those in Federal Supply Classes 4210 and 4240 respectively. Prior to proceeding with the competitive process for the renewal of this commodity, PWGSC would like to solicit feedback from industry on how the procurement of this commodity could be improved. The intent of the consultation process will be to share working draft documents with representatives from industry for input and/or for information purposes. Canada will consult with industry stakeholders regarding the following: Introduction to Proposed Supply Arrangement Process Method of Evaluation and Mandatory Criteria Categories and Sub categories Supplier Questions - Proposed Supply Arrangement Process Introduction to the Current Standing Offer Agreement Proposed Standing Offer Changes Supplier Questions - Proposed Standing Offer PWGSC has also reviewed the content of Annex "A" that forms part of the current NMSO. This review has resulted in new definitions/ editions to Annex "A", which is attached to this Request for Information for review. Annex "A" is intended to form part of the upcoming procurement tool. A list of questions has also been provided for your response. Note that the data requested is for information purposes only, and will allow Canada to determine the requirement based on supplier capability now and in the future. Quality of goods, cost-effectiveness and efficiency are critical to the success of the requirement. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
