This requirement has been created to establish Regional Master
Standing Offers (RMSO's) for the supply of Fire, Safety and
Rescue Equipment (FSRE), including those Federal Supply Classes
4210 and 4240 respectively, on an "as and when requested" basis,
from date of issuance of any resulting Standing offer for twelve
(12) month period with an option to extend for two (2) twelve
(12) month periods, for use by various Federal Government
Departments, Crown Corporations and Agencies all across Canada,
excluding any Land Claims Areas.  

It is anticipated that more than one RMSO will be issued
containing the same or similar items. 

In order to qualify for the issuance of an RMSO, suppliers must
be in compliance with the evaluation criteria, method of
selection and to the pricing basis detailed in the Request for
Regional Master Standing Offer Document.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
