GENERATOR SYSTEMS - R&O

This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number W8486-196044/A dated February 3, 2020 with a closing of May 15, 2020 at 14:00 Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders who bid on the previous solicitation.

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement, on an "as and when required basis" for Repair and Overhaul (R&O) services to be performed on 2.0 to 60 KW generators, power distribution systems, distribution boxes, and load banks. This equipment is positioned throughout Canada and at operational sites.  The R&O functions include, but are not limited to handling, repairing, overhauling, modifications, upgrades, equipment configuration management, technical data management, integrated logistics support and maintenance support.

The Contract will be for a two (2) year period starting from date of contract award with options to extend the contract for up to three (3) additional one-year periods. 

There are no security requirements associated with this requirement.

This procurement is subject to the Controlled Goods Program. The Defence Production Act defines Canadian Controlled Goods as certain goods listed in Canada’s Export Control List, a regulation made pursuant to the Export and Import Permits Act (EIPA).
