    AMENDMENT 003
    
    This amendment is raised to modify the Request for Proposal,
    provide questions and answers to potential bidders, and to amend
    the Purchase Description (PD) as follows:
    
    On page 2 and 3
    Delete: Destination Code/Code destinaire	 D-1 (CFB ASU PETAWAWA)
    
    
    Question: I have a point that I am requesting reconsideration
    on: 
    
    Item 3.4 Vehicle Performance
    g) 	The vehicle shall have a maximum turning radius of 4.6
    meters (181.1"). 
    
    This is going to eliminate a lot of brands, including ours. We
    are asking if a larger turning radius would be considered. Ours
    is 6.05 meters (238").
    
    Answer: The proposed turning radius will be acceptable.  
    
    
    Delete: 3.4	Vehicle Performance 
    
    g)	The vehicle shall have a maximum turning radius of 4.6 metres
    (181.1"), when tested in accordance with SAE Recommended
    Practice J695.
    
    Insert: 3.4	Vehicle Performance 
    
    g)	The vehicle shall have a maximum turning radius of 6.05
    metres (238"), when tested in accordance with SAE Recommended
    Practice J695.

    The Department of National Defence has a requirement to purchase
    one (1) Street Sweeper and ancillary items, including
    familiarization instruction/training, in accordance with the
    Purchase Description Sweeper, Street, Self-Propelled 2.4 Metre
    Sweeping Path ECC 166329 dated 2013-10-21 , and as described at
    Annex A - Pricing by March 28, 2014. 
    
    The requirement includes an option to purchase up to six (6)
    Street Sweepers and ancillary items to be exercised within
    twenty-four (24) months as indicated in the requisition from the
    effective date of the contract.
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
    Organization Agreement on Government Procurement, the North
    American Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Columbia Free Trade
    Agreement, the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement, the
    Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement and the Agreement on Internal
    Trade.
    
    Debriefings
    After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
    results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request
    to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt
    of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. The debriefing
    may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.
