    Air Charter Services for Fisheries and Oceans Canada North Atlantic Right Whale Monitoring Plus
    
    The Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO)requires the services of a high-wing, twin-turbine aircraft that can accommodate five DFO passengers to conduct systematic and search transects for whales (particularly North Atlantic right whales) small cetaceans and other marine species over the waters of the Gulf of St Lawrence, the Bay of Fundy, the Scotian Shelf and off Newfoundland. 
    
    DFO requires the exclusive use of the aircraft, including two pilots and engineer and maintenance services support for the aircraft, to allow continuous operations of the DFO requirements between April 1 and November 30 of each year of the contract (field period), with an annual estimated usage of up to 1000 maximum flying hours.
    
    The period of the Contract is from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019 inclusive. The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to four additional 1-year periods under the same conditions.
    
    This solicitation uses Portable Document Format (PDF) technology. To access the PDF form, bidders must have a PDF reader installed. If bidders do not already have such a reader, there are several PDF readers available on the Internet.  It is recommended to use the latest free version of Adobe Reader to benefit all features of the interactive forms.
    
    Bidders must download the form directly on their computer from the WEB Browser. When the download is completed, bidders must open the PDF file using the PDF Reader. If bidders do not download the PDF file on their computer, an error may be displayed and the tool may not work. If you are having trouble downloading the PDF file on your computer, it is possible to view the tool using the WEB browser Internet Explorer. Any other WEB browser will most likely not allow you to view the document. Otherwise, it is highly recommended to download the file on your computer to keep a local copy.
