Requirement:
The CanadianCoast Guard (CCG) has a requirement to carry out overhauls on three Hiab Sea Cranes in accordance with Annex A - Technical Statement of Requirement - Specifications No. 829.16.  These cranes are located on three individual CCG vessels; CCGS Cove Isle, CCGS Caribou Isle and CCGS Limnos in their respective ports. Overhauls are to be completed at Contractor’s facilities.

Optional Site Visit:
Optional site visits will be held on January 24th (CCGS Cove Isle - Parry Sound, ON), 25th (CCGS Limnos - Burlington, ON) and 26th (CCGS Caribou Isle - Amherstburg, ON), 2017 between the hours of 09:00am and Noon at the following addresses. All Contractors must have valid identification to sign in at the Main Gate.

Bidders’ Conference:
A bidders’ conference will not be held.

Destination:
The work shall becarried out at the Contractor’s facility.

Work Period:
Commence: At Contract Award. 
Complete: March 31, 2017.

Sourcing Strategy:
The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19) subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).
One contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation.
