    CLEAR UNOBSTRUCTED CRYSTAL INFRARED TRANSPARENT WINDOW ASSEMBLIES THAT ARE SUITED FOR QUANTITATIVE MEASUREMENT BASED ON THERMOGRAPHY FOR THE CANADIAN COAST GUARD AT THEIR VESSELS AND BASE LOCATION(S)
    The Canadian Coast Guard has a requirement for clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window assemblies that are suited for quantitative measurement based on thermography.  The clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window assemblies that are suited for quantitative measurement based on thermography Assemblies will be used on the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) Vessels and must be certified for a marine environment by a Classification Society recognized by Transport Canada.
    The objective of this Requirement is to establish a national individual standing offer for three (3) inch and four (4) inch clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window assemblies that are suited for quantitative measurement based on thermography in accordance with the specifications in Annex A - Statement of Requirement.
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
    The period of the Standing Offer is for one (1) year, with two (2) one (1) year option years.
    There are no security requirement associated with this requirement.
    Delivery of the requirement will be made to delivery point(s) at Canadian Coast Guard Vessels and Base location(s) in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
    
    MANDATORY TECHNICAL CRITERIA EVALUATION
    M1
    The clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window assemblies must be certified for a marine environment by a Classification Society recognized by Transport Canada.
    M2
    The clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window assemblies’ lenses must have a broadband transmission allowing both visible spectrum wavelengths and the Infrared wavelengths to transmit through the lenses.
    M3
    The clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window assemblies must be provided with a gasket which must be installed between the exterior of the enclosure and the “Infrared Transparent Window Assemblies”.
    M4
    The clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window assemblies must be of a complete circular shape.
    M5
    The clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window assemblies must come in two distinct sizes:  three (3) inch diameter and four (4) inch diameter.
    M6
    The clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window assemblies’ three (3) inch IF lens must have an actual lenses viewing aperture diameter between 2.4 inches (60.96 mm) inclusively and 3.0 inches (76.20 mm) inclusively.

    The clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window assemblies’ four (4) inch IF lens must have an actual lenses viewing aperture diameter between 3.4 inches (86.36 millimeters) inclusively and 4.0 inches (101.60 millimeters) inclusively.
    M8
    The clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window assemblies must have a permanently attached and hinged solid metal impact and load resistant cover secured or opened for viewing access by non-removable fasteners.
    M9
    The clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window assemblies must have an ingress protection (IP) rating equal to IP65 or better.
    M10
    The clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window assemblies must be rated to two-hundred (200°C) degrees Celsius or greater.
    M11
    The clear unobstructed crystal Infrared Transparent Window that must have mounting hardware installed “within” the cabinet or door, any individual piece of the “Window Assemblies’” mounting hardware shall not extend beyond three-quarter of an inch (0.75 in) from the door or panel, if made from metal.
