RENOVATION OF ROOFTOP-GARDEN 

The project consists without limitaiton  in the renovation of the
existing inverted roof system at level 01 of the
rooftop gardens, at the Guy-Favreau Complex, of an approximate ar
a of 1 525 m². This zone
of rooftop gardens is located directly along the " du Centre-Vill
" building, that was
built on the Guy-Favreau Complex.

The replacement of the waterproofing system, involves the removal
of the existing prefabricated
concrete pavement system on poured concrete pedestal located on t
e roof and its
replacement with a new system of prefabricated concrete pavement 
n adjustable pedestals.
The renovation of the roofing system involves the temporary remov
l of the prefabricated
concrete low walls forming the planting boxes, their storage and 
einstallation following the reroofing
work. Horizontal surfaces at ramps and stairs, made out of prefab
icated concrete will
be replaced as well as all handrails and railings.

Structural work (anchors on prefabricated concrete low walls and 
tructural slab integrity),
electrical work (building lights and light bollards replacement),
mechanical work (new roof
drains and related work) will be required. Landscaping work will 
e required for the replacement
of all the existing plants within the planting boxes


Site Visit :It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative
of the Bidder visit the work site.  Arrangements have been made f
r a tour of the work site.  The site visit will be held on Septem
er 9, 2015 at 10:00am  at the main entrance of the  Guy Favreau C
mplex, 200 Boul René-Lévesque Ouest, Montréal,  Quebec.  

Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be gi
en an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from
submitting a bid.  Any clarifications or changes to the bid solic
tation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amend
ent to the bid solicitation.
 

Total  estimate for the contract is between $1,000,000 - 5,000,00
$
