Line 1, REBUILDING ENVELOPE LAFERRIÈRE CORRECTIONAL COMMUNITY CENTER 

This refurbishment project consists of replacing the entire roof covering and improving the rain drainage of both basins. The work also involves the entire replacement of the exterior brick cladding at the Laferrière Correctional Community Center.

Site preparation
-Install the signs for bypassing pedestrian and automobile routes
-Move floor lamps and pedestrian traffic lights
-Remove parking meters for the duration of the work

Brick wall
-Demolition of the masonry of four sectors on five.
-Refine the foundations of the brick and seal the foundation junction at timber structure
-Reconstruction of sidewalks
-New brick siding and review flashings on all openings
-Renovation of five outdoor gantries

Roofing
-Removing the existing membrane
-Accentuate the slope of the south basin with slope insulation
-Lower the wood structure of the north basin to increase the slope towards the central drain
-Reinforce all the gable parapets using struts
-Remove the three skylights
-Refine the membrane on the two basins and the lean-to
-Replace metal flashings
-Replacing an air conditioning unit and moving two more
-Installation of two heating cables for roof drain


There is a mandatory site visit on November 08, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interested bidders must   meet at 202 rue St-Georges à St-Jérôme (Québec) J7Z 4Z9. Once on site, please ask for M. Yves Lefebvre.

The representative of the bidder must confirm his attendance 48 hours in advance by e-mail to the Contracting Authority: keven.harvey@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca The representative of the bidder who have not confirm his attendance in advance will not be accepted at the gate.
