Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: Suppliers on permanent list or able to meet qualification requirements Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Request for selective tendering of construction work, involving the use of a permanent list of pre-qualified suppliers selected pursuant to a request for a supply arrangement for general contractor services on our file number EFA66-070581/B. Only pre-qualified suppliers will receive the tendering documents distributed by Public Works and Government Services Canada. The following qualified firms currently have a supply arrangement in respect of this file and are invited to submit bids for this project. These firms are: Construction Socam ltée, Laval (Québec) Opron inc, Boucherville (Québec) Celeb construction ltée, Brossard (Québec) Constructions Berka inc, Laval (Québec) Aranda construction inc., Laval (Québec) A supply arrangement is a method of supply where the client, under the framework of the arrangement, may solicit bids from a pool of pre-qualified suppliers. A supply arrangement is not a contract and is not legally binding on the parties who have signed only the supply arrangement. Any interested firm may apply to become a qualified supplier for the Supply Arrangement, when a project is announced pursuant to the supply arrangement. However, a firm shall not be considered for a particular project if its evaluation has not been completed and the firm is not yet qualified under the terms of the request for a supply arrangement. Contract awards pursuant to the supply arrangement shall not be delayed in order to complete the evaluation of applicants. General project description Work to be performed in the present contract consists in replacing the carpet in HRSDC offices, on the 4th floor of the federal building located at 715 Peel in Montreal. Among others, work in several phases included the removal of personal effects and filling cabinets, dismantling and removal of furniture and non-electrified acoustic screens, lifting part of the "system" furniture and electrified acoustic screens during construction, removal of carpets or existing resilient tile flooring, subfloor preparation, installation of carpet tiles, reinstallation of furniture and acoustic screens, relocation of effects and filling cabinets. All related work required for the total completion of the project are also included in the present contract. The carpet tiles will be provided to the contractor by PWGSC. An optional site visit is scheduled on February 21st 2013 at 10:00 am, at the main entrance of 715 Peel Street, Montreal. The estimated cost for this opportunity is between $100 001 and $250 000 Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
