    Nature of Requirements: 
    All construction works located at Cowansville Facility must be
    under a single contract at a fixed price. They should be
    operated inside a designed secure perimeter. A renovation will
    be executed at cellblock - building 8 which was used for
    detention. All prison activities and operations will be
    maintained, at all times, in other three detention buildings
    (Building 9, 10, and 11) situated next to the construction site.
     Construction works include, inter alia, a worksite'
    mobilization and organization, an approval of workshop drawings,
    a demolition according to work phases, a demolition of existing
    systems, a removal of hazardous materials, and an interior
    finishing work along with an interior arrangement. Moreover,
    they also consists of mechanical and electrical installations,
    superstructure works, procedures corresponding to the
    installation and commissioning of new and existing elevators,
    fire protection systems, and commissioning of equipments.
    
    Total  estimate for the contract is more than $5,000,000, taxes
    extra.
    
    Site Visit : There will be an optional (but strongly
    recommended) site visit to be held on September 15, 2015 at
    10:00 am.  The meeting point will be at the Visitors' entrance
    (building 1) of the Cowansville Institution, 400 avenue in
    Cowansville(QC), J2K 3N7
    
    Contractor personnel shall submit to a local verification of
    identity or information by Correctional Service Canada (CSC)
    prior to admittance to the facility/site. Correctional Service
    Canada reserves the right to deny access to any facility/site
    part thereof of any Contractor personnel, at any time.
    
    Contractors who wish to attend the bidders' visit must complete
    the "Institutional Access" form (CSC 1279), sign it and send it
    AT LEAST TEN (10) WORK DAYS prior to the visit along with a copy
    of their driver's license to the following email addresses:
