    TITLE : Temporary Facilities at the Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle Border Crossing.
    PROJECT ADDRESS : Route 15, St-Bernard-de-Lacolle, Quebec.
    CLIENT / USER : Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
    
    DESCRIPTION
    Work concerning the present project will take place at the Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle Border Crossing in Quebec. This Border Crossing consists of a set of buildings including commercial booths and travelers booths; a building for travelers operations; buildings for commercial transactions and buses; a duty-free shop; a building of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency; a building containing public restroom; a filtration plant and a wastewater treatment plant.
    
    The temporary Facilities project is a construction project that will temporarily provide facilities for employees and the public in preparation for the future expansion and renovation of the facilities project.
    
    The temporary accommodations project involves work to be done in an existing building, including selective demolition work and construction work, affecting interiors (walls, floors and ceilings), mechanical and electrical systems, camera and access control systems, signage and auxiliary civil work.
    
    This work also includes the replacement and construction of water and sewer systems, the construction of traffic lanes and parking, access controls and lighting and the construction of a shelter in metal frame.
    
    
    CALENDAR : The Construction period is estimated at 60 WORKING days.
    
    SITE VISIT : There will be an optional (but strongly recommended) site visit to be held on June 28th, 2017 at 10h00 AM. Interested bidders are to meet at:

    SECURITY REQUIREMENTS 
    This document contains security requirements. 
    The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the performance of the Contract, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), with Document Safeguarding at the level of PROTECTED B, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).
    
    ACCES TO PROTECTED "B" PLANS AND SPECS
    A portion of the plans and specifications is classified as PROTECTED "B" and may not be published with the solicitation documents. Contractors interested in bidding for the project as well as subcontractors (specifically for the access control systems (doors) and CCTV systems (cameras)) will be able to consult the paper versions of these protected plans and specifications during the bidding period. These documents cannot be removed from our premises at any time. Also, they are not be copied or photographed. 
    Therefore interested entrepreneurs and their subcontractors (areas related to access control systems (doors) and CCTV systems (cameras)) must hold a corporate reliability status called "Designated Organization Screening (DOS)" to access the plans and specifications relating to the sections mentioned above during the bidding period.
