Nature of Requirements: 
This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid
solicitation number       6D024-145112/B dated January 9, 2015
with a closing of January 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM.  A debriefing or
feedback session will be provided upon request to
bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.

To supply Ciprofloxacin 500mg tablets for the Office of
Emergency Response Services (OERS).   Canada requests the
Contractor to deliver the product in bottles of 100 and/or 500
tablets at the OERS Depot in Ottawa.

Firm Quantity:
The requirement is for 1,750,000 tablets of Ciprofloxacin 500mg
in bottles of 100 and/or 500 tablets.

Optional Quantities:
Any resulting contract will include an irrevocable option to
purchase up to an additional quantity of 1,750,000 tablets of
Ciprofloxacin 500mg in bottles of 100 and/or 500 tablets under
the same terms and conditions and at the prices/or rates stated
in the Contract.  Canada may exercise this option up to 5 years
after Contract award.

Contract Period:
Five (5) years from contract award.

Delivery:
Delivery of firm quantity of 1,750,000 tablets 

Two (2) delivery options:

Option 001:  Complete delivery of firm quantity of 1,750,000
tablets on or before March 31, 2015.
  
or

Option 002:  Delivery in two (2) shipments

Initial shipment - delivery of a minimum of 875,000 tablets on
or before March 31, 2015 

Second shipment - delivery of the remaining firm quantity
(1,750,000 tablets minus quantity delivered in initial shipment)
on or before June 30, 2015.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
